Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture, focusing on applications and integration
- Delivering standards and guidance for projects in the form of architecture principles, standards and guidelines
- Develop and maintain current, future and roadmap architecture blueprints
- Providing architectural quality assurance for project deliverables
- Ensuring that appropriate governance is applied to delivery projects
- Technology recommendations
- Delivery of key architecture projects and artefacts
Experience:
- Experience of using TOGAF
- Experience with Java EE5 architectures
- Experience defining architecture strategy (vision, blueprints, roadmaps)
- Practical experience with Service Orientated Architectures
- Experience using Sparx Enterprise Architect or an equivalent modelling tool would be beneficial
- Experience in the payments and financial industries would be a bonus
Qualifications:
Preferably TOGAF Certified
Oracle Certified Master, Java EE5 (formerly Sun Certified Enterprise Architect) would be beneficial
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks – e.g. TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, etc
- Deep knowledge of Service Orientated Architectures
- Broad knowledge of development methodologies – e.g. Agile, Waterfall, Rational Unified Process, etc
