Experience

• Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Minimum 3 years of Java programming language experience
• Minimum 1 year of Android application development
• Minimum 1 year experience developing multi threaded networked Android mobile applications
• Minimum 1 year experience developing custom Android widgets/views
• Good understanding on how to scale Android UI across multiple devices
• Strong MVC/Object Oriented programming skills, demonstrable through past work examples
• Experience in JSON/XML based application development
• Experience with JUnit or equivalent
• Experience with CVS, SVN, Mercurial or GIT.

Highly Desirable

• Experience of other mobile platforms – JME, Blackberry, iPhone and Windows Mobile/Phone
• JSON data model
• Experience with Google MAP API
• Hands on experience with Ant
• Working knowledge of SQLite
• Applications released on the Android Market
• Writing documentation
• Hands on experience with Maven

Desirable

• Applications released on the Android Market
• Experience of Agile methods (SCRUM)
• Experience with WML/XHTML or any other similar technologies.
• Automated build scripts
• Eclipse IDE expertise
