Medium iOS Developer - Edinburgh

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Development of internal and customer facing apps and services inline with RBS group requirements.  You’ll provide input on platform specific capabilities and deliver feature areas for the multiple projects that are developed.  

While you will based onsite at RBS in Edinburgh City Centre, you will be expected to travel from time to time to our/RBS locations for meetings, training, or during critical work streams.

Education and Qualifications

Ideally degree qualified in a numerate discipline (or equivalent experience

Skills and Competencies

• Good knowledge of Objective-C and iOS libraries (iOS 4.3 and up)

• Good understanding of Object Oriented and asynchronous programming techniques

• Experience implementing common design patterns and working in an Agile work environment 

• A good working knowledge of consuming RESTful services, XML, and JSON

• Excited by working to tight deadlines with bleeding edge technology

• Experience working with bug management and source control systems

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
