Pre-integrated with the Smart Client application's modern user interface and designed to provide a native user experience on all major smartphone platforms, Mobile Remote Deposit Capture empowers a customer to use the camera on his iPhone, Android or BlackBerry smartphone to take photographs of the front and back of a check for deposit.

The customer then submits the images via the Smart Client application to the FI's existing check image processor, which are subsequently sent to the FI's existing check clearing system. The check's image quality and initial validity is verified by the image processor and the customer receives a receipt confirmation when the deposit is accepted.
